Fenin has launched the first edition of the Fenin Awards, an initiative aimed at recognising the commitment of the different stakeholders within the healthcare system to the development, adoption and use of innovative healthcare technology to improve people’s health and quality of life, and to transform the care model in support of a more efficient healthcare system.

“Our healthcare system is facing major challenges, such as population ageing and chronic disease. Innovative healthcare technology is the answer to these challenges, as it focuses on prevention, early care and personalised support, improving health outcomes and helping to build a more efficient system. The Fenin Awards seek to recognise those who are already leading this path and, at the same time, to raise the profile of healthcare technology as a strategic sector for the sustainability of the system,” explained Pablo Crespo, Secretary General of Fenin.
