On 3 November, the official launch of the European MEDICYSS project took place in Barcelona. The initiative aims to strengthen cybersecurity resilience across the European healthcare sector, with Fenin participating as a member of the project consortium.

The launch event, held at the Hotel Porta Fira in Barcelona, brought together project partners and representatives from the healthcare and cybersecurity sectors to share MEDICYSS’s objectives, align priorities and address some of the key challenges related to the protection of healthcare systems.

Key topics discussed during the event included adaptation to the European cybersecurity regulatory framework, including the NIS2 Directive; supply chain protection; the security of connected medical devices; and the preparedness of healthcare organisations to respond to cybersecurity threats.

Fenin’s participation in MEDICYSS reflects its commitment to promoting innovation and the digital transformation of the healthcare system. Within the framework of the project, Fenin will contribute to addressing cybersecurity challenges related to the Health Technology ecosystem.
